Gaetano Di Giacomo is a versatile drummer takes an active role in many aspects of the London Jazz scene. He has performed with many of today’s British jazz top musicians. 

Originally from Italy Gaetano Di Giacomo studied drums and percussion in Bologna before obtaining a degree in Music Performance from Trinity College after moving to the UK.In the early part of his career, Gaetano cut his teeth working on the jazz and pop scene travelling extensively and performing at festivals and venues in Italy, UK, Japan, Finland, USA, France, Norway, and Denmark.

He has performed in a plethora of prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott’s, 606 Club, Jazz Cafe, Pizza Express, The Forge, Jazz Cafe POSK, The Vortex, Peggy's Skyline, Barga Jazz Club Italy, The Arlati Jazz Club Italy and many more.

His receptiveness to all styles of music, combined with a deep knowledge of the roots of jazz, his dynamics and his attention to interplay with other musicians make him one of the most interesting drummers in London today.

Jeremy Brown is one of the foremost bass players on the UK jazz scene, for 10 years a member of Peter King’s quartet, also played regularly with British Jazz greats such as Stan Tracey, Bobby Wellins , Bill Le Sage and Irish guitarist Louis Stewart. Jeremy recorded with numerous jazz artists including Gerard Prescencer, Julian Siegel, Anita Wardell, Kate Williams, Dave O’Higgins, Claire Martin, Zoe Rahman, Christine Tobin, Chris Garrick, and Rob Barron.

Dave OHiggins is an outstanding jazz saxophone virtuoso and a highly regarded educator at the London College of Contemporary Media, where he is the Jazz Pathway Leader. He also runs a small specialist jazz recording studio (JVG), in search of the optimum way of recording jazz musicians through a combination of old techniques (á la Rudy Van Gelder) and newer innovations.

Dave worked with some of the world’s finest musicians, including: Joey Calderazzo, Joe Locke, Dave Kikowski, Eric Alexander, Grant Stewart, Max Ionata, Phil Dwyer, Adam Nussbaum, Joe Lovano, Phil Woods, Jimmy Smith, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, Kurt Elling, Wayne Shorter, Eddie Gomez, Billy Childs, Abdullah Ibrahim, Chico Chagas, Stephane Grappelli, Michel Legrand. He has released 20 CDs as leader to date. He also wrote and produced the last Matt Bianco album, “Gravity”.

Also on Dave’s CV: Frank Sinatra (the last London appearance - a week at the Royal Albert Hall in 1992) and a tour and album with Ray Charles.

John Turville is one of the leading pianists and educators on the UK scene. A graduate of Cambridge and the Guildhall, he has since received numerous awards, including the MOJO #3 Jazz Album of the Year (2012), ‘Best Album’ in the Parliamentary Awards 2011, ‘Best Instrumentalist' in the 2010 London Jazz Awards, the 2009 Promoter’s Choice Award (PRS), and was a semi-finalist in the Martial Solal competition in 2010. He worked and recorded with many of Europe’s leading jazz and tango groups, including Tim Garland’s Lighthouse Trio and Acoustic Triangle, the Tony Kofi/Alan Barnes Quintet, Karios 4tet, Gilad Atzmon, El Ultimo Tango, Transtango, the London Tango Orchestra, London Jazz Orchestra, Guillermo Rozenthuler, Nate James, Matt Ridley Quartet (feat. Jason Yarde), Natacha Atlas, US3 and Sola Akingbola (Jamiroquai).

His own trio have released two acclaimed albums on the F-IRE label and toured widely throughout the UK and Europe. Recent engagements include sets at the Barbican, South Bank, Kings Place, Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express, The Vortex, Bridgewater Hall, Manchester and the Scarborough Jazz Festivals.
