Gianluca De Martini, a British-Italian soul singer and songwriter, gifted with a strong and passionate voice, combines in his singing jazz, soul and gospel influences, which results in emotional interpretations with high expressive power. Throughout his long career, he touched several music genres , from jazz to soul, blues, r'n'b, gospel, classical and musical theater.

He played in the theater versions of Footloose, Hair and sung backing vocals at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in 2012 behind all the major British music stars.
Due to his unique tone of voice, he won the first press award at the famous Italian talent show Amici and mentions several prestigious collaborations with internationally known artists such as Joey De Francesco, Sarah Jane Morris, Massimo Faraò, Debbie Allen, Harlem gospel singers and many more.
On February 26, 2022 at Jazz Cafe POSK, Gianluca and his band will present soul music full of passion and energy with elegant jazz twist. It will be a journey through the soul classics; from Stevie Wonder's genius to the catchy tunes of The Temptations, from the power of Aretha Franklin to classic tunes written by Burt Bacharach, plus couple of jazz standards and some great surprises.
Gianluca De Martini had performed at Jazz Café POSK already in 2013, as a special guest of Italian saxophonist Renato D’Aiello’s band, and was enthusiastically received by the club's audience!
