Piotr Wyleżoł is a multi-award winning composer and jazz pianist and his group The Piotr Wylezol Trio are one of the most recognisable names on the Polish Jazz scene. Piotr has recorded 3 Albums with his Trio and has appeared on many recordings including collaborations with Nigel Kennedy and Jarek Smietana. His last Trio CD “Children’s Episodes on the renowned Fresh Sounds label was nominated for a Fryderyk Award (Poland's equivalent of a Grammy), in the Jazz Album of the Year category. Piotr Wyleżoł is a regular on the live concert and festival scene as well as leading the jazz piano class at the Krakow Academy of Music's Jazz and Modern Music Department. For this special year celebrating the Centenary of Poland’s return to the map of Europe on 11 November 1918 Piotr will be presenting a special set playing selections from his latest release “Human Things” as well as his acclaimed albums including the classic “My Polish Heart”
