Gianluca De Martini Quartet: “Love’s in Need of Love Today”
“Love’s in Need of Love Today” is an evening about love in all of its forms. From romance to friendship, from family to love for one another. As Stevie Wonder says in the song that gives the title to the concert: “don’t delay and send your love in right away”! Tonight, together we will go through the dynamic lyrics and the beautiful melodies of some of the most incredible love songs of all times.
Gianluca De Martini, a British-Italian soul singer and songwriter, gifted with a strong and passionate voice, combines in his singing jazz, soul, and gospel influences, which results in emotional interpretations with high expressive power. Throughout his long career, he touched several music genres, from jazz to soul, blues, r'n'b, gospel, classical and musical theatre, his vocal style was influenced by such singers as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, or Nat King Cole…
He played in the theatre versions of Footloose, Hair and sung backing vocals at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in 2012 behind all the major British music stars. Due to his unique tone of voice, he won the first press award at the famous Italian talent show Amici and mentions several prestigious collaborations with internationally known artists such as Joey De Francesco, Sarah Jane Morris, Massimo Faraò, Debbie Allen, Harlem gospel singers and many more.
Gianluca De Martini had performed at Jazz Café POSK already in 2013, as a special guest of Italian saxophonist Renato D’Aiello’s band and was enthusiastically received by the club's audience! He repeated the success here on February 26, 2022, and April 01, 2023, with his energetic show presenting soul music with elegant jazz twist.

Gianluca De Martini wystąpił w Jazz Café POSK już w 2013 roku, jako gość specjalny zespołu włoskiego saksofonisty Renato D’Aiello i został entuzjastycznie przyjęty przez klubową publiczność!
Sukces powtórzył tutaj 26 lutego 2022 r. i 1 kwietnia 2023 r. swoimi pelnymi energii występami prezentującymi muzykę soul z eleganckim akcentem jazzowym!
