Marcina Arnold: Celebrating the Jazz Voice!
This evening will celebrate the legacy of the great jazz voices that have made our world so rich with the sound of jazz, bossa nova, blues, and soul. Marcina Arnold, one of the UK’s finest singers, gifted with a stunning emotive voice, will be performing a combination of standard jazz repertoire celebrating the greats like Billie Holiday, Dakota Staton, Flora Purim as well as original interpretation of formidable modern jazz masters like Wayne Shorter and Horace Silver! Marcina will be joined by an incredible quartet and special guests.

Marcina Arnold is a fantastic singer, musician & songwriter with a rich distinctive voice. She’s based in the UK, and her musical diversity is reflected in her multiethnic heritage, she is at ease singing blues, folk, jazz, soul, RnB, folk, gospel, bossa nova and world music.
Marcina has sung with many greats, like South African jazz pianist Bheki Mseleku, saxophonist Steve Williamson, trumpeter Byron Wallen with whom she recorded on his first 2 albums and the 1st album Sound Advice produced by Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira. She had chart success in Japan with - jazz funk group Akimbo.
Featuring on recordings with Peruvian guitarist Manu Ventura, and sung lead vocals on the Capital Radio 1 winners acclaimed band Quite Sane’s album “A Child of Troubled Times”.
