The return of London band Torus playing acoustic fusion jazz from the 70s and 80s with compositions from Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, Mike Mainieri & Don Grolnick. and capturing the spirit of this innovative period. For this special evening they have invited special guest Ralph Wyld to help generate the good vibes!
Ralph Wyld is a vibraphonist, percussionist and composer, whose accolades include the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize 2015, and the Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition 2015. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music jazz course, Ralph is making his name playing original, contemporary music with groups such as Yazz Ahmed’s ‘Hafla’, John Martin’s ‘Hidden Notes’ and Rick Simpson’s ‘Klammer’.
